Jessica Leigh Endelson was raised as a budding photographer by her father, who nurtured his young daughter’s talent when he took her on some of his own photographic assignments. 

Hobby became an obsession in high school, when Jessica turned her bedroom into a darkroom. A native New Yorker, Jessica found the city rich with endless subjects and scenes to explore behind the lens.  She majored in photography and graphic design at the University of Michigan, and then returned to New York City to fulfill her dreams.

The pivotal moment came when her twin cousins were born, and Jessica realized that she had a passion and instinct for capturing the world of children. Ever since then she has specialized in exploring the wonder on their faces and the tiny moments that seem huge and timeless.

Of her own inspiration, Jessica explains, “To a parent, each child is perfect, unique and beautiful—a work in progress.  It’s a joy to be able to take pictures of children, and make these images an integral part of family life.”  She excels in creating portrait sittings that convey a relaxed atmosphere of fun, spontaneity, and love. She is known for designing one-of-a-kind family albums.

One of Jessica Leigh’s new services is helping families create special, personal family photo galleries in their homes, coordinating a harmonious display within a variety of personal décor. These beautiful and distinctive collages and groupings of children of all ages have made an impact in her client’s homes in such diverse areas as New England, the Hamptons, Connecticut and Palm Beach as well as New York City.

Her photographs have been featured in many prestigious magazines, including New York Family and Hampton Sheet. Often she is seen on assignment at prestigious events around the city at venues such as Dylan’s Candy Bar, Kidsville, Gymtime and is the lead photographer for famous children’s emporium, Jodi’s Gym. In addition, Jessica works in joint with ‘Divalyssciousmoms’ at events and specialized photo sessions.
